About Lisi and Associates Southern Utah Real Estate Team
Lisi & Associates is a representation of what it takes to sell real estate in any market. Clients need to be assured that they are in good hands, for there is so much that goes into a real estate deal these days that one can never be too careful. Many things can go wrong along the way and there can be confusion among all parties concerned. What we do at Lisi & Associates is take the confusion and mystery out of buying and selling real estate, and we wear many ‘hats’ so that you don’t have to worry. Our clients know that all the aspects of the deal will be done right – the first time!

Our associates come from many different areas of the real estate business. After years of working in Wisconsin and Southern Utah in the industry, we have narrowed our searches down to who we really want to be ‘associated’ with as we go out and assist our clients with their real estate needs.

For example, there are lenders, title companies, home inspectors, etc., etc., that we know and trust so well that we have no qualms about leaving a client alone in the office with one of our associates. We have taken that worry and search out your hands, if you want. Many clients choose their own professionals and that’s just fine with us. Most of our clients come from out of town, however, and do not know who to pick and choose from in Saint George, Utah.

We won’t bore you with the whole list of associates; rather, let us introduce the 2 principal partners (pictured here) of Lisi & Associates and we’ll get to the rest of our members as we do business with you.

Patrick (I like to be called ‘Pat’) Lisi is the one pictured with the Green Bay Packer hat if you couldn’t guess. Yes, I still remember the Pack and the glory years, and all the ups and downs along the way. But, that’s for another time and maybe a full book!

I am a retired Wisconsin Game Warden and I got into the real estate business while we still lived in Wisconsin, kind of in preparation for something to do when I left the state service. But, it was more than that. I love being with people and being of service to them, and that’s what real estate sales is all about. Service. And, I might add, service with a smile. Coming from a law enforcement background, I just hate to see people get cheated, robbed and wrangled out of something. The real estate business, historically, is loaded with horror stories. I’m here to make sure that doesn’t happen to my people!

I got my Wisconsin real estate license in 2003 and used it to work a real estate referral business until Marjorie and I moved to Saint George, Utah in 2006. When we made that move I was already licensed in the State of Utah and I hit the bricks running, as they say, and immediately launched my full time career in the real estate business selling Saint George, Utah homes.

I am originally from Madison, Wisconsin. I spent a year in Viet Nam as a Marine Corps ‘grunt’, returning to Madison and society in the early seventies to own and operate a retail business in the UW Campus neighborhood. As time went by and opportunity arose, I spent 2 years as a county sheriff deputy, and then was hired to work as a game warden. All of this adds up to my devotion to public service. I’ve worn the uniforms of federal, state and county professionals. And now, the Realtor uniform!

I enjoy listing real estate for sellers so long as they are realistic about what they intend to harvest. This market is no time for people who are curious about what they can get for their house and want to play the markets. It doesn’t produce a sale. This is a buyer’s market and it will remain so until well into 2010 and probably longer. I can only predict a year in advance.

So, I work a lot with buyers. To that end, I went and earned my ABR designation in 2008 (Accredited Buyers Representative), which means I did extensive schooling, selling, and continued education (CE’s) so as to know how to really help buyers make good decisions. Yes, buyers have the upper hand right now, but there is still a ton of things to know about buying real estate – now, and when it is a seller’s market again.

The other principal partner to Lisi & Associates is Marjorie Lisi. She’s the one pictured on the left if you needed some help. Marjorie is a licensed real estate agent as well, of course, and her role in our business is immense. Marjorie is our Lead Administrative Manager, and her function is everything to do with a listing or a sale that doesn’t involve the actual showing of real estate to shoppers. Did you know that any given real estate transaction can have over a hundred different tasks? Driving people around to show them homes is only one of those. Marjorie does a lot of work per transaction, and sometimes never even meets the client!

If you do meet Marjorie on a deal you will be impressed. She is also from Wisconsin; in fact, we met in Northern WI while I was a game warden there. She is highly educated, with a Masters Degree in Business Management. Her previous careers include 24 years as the Radiology Administer of a hospital, sales rep for Phillips Medical Systems, a health and life insurance sales woman, and a very successful Financial Advisor for the New York Life Insurance Company. Marjorie is also a fitness instructor and hiking guide with the Fitness Ridge of Ivins, which is a suburb of Saint George, Utah.

So, there you have it. Lisi & Associates is a team that has been very carefully assembled to give you, the client, the very best professional care that you demand and deserve.
